Please plan your journey and take important supplies such as prescription medication, spare water and a good map with you. Prepare your vehicle and be aware of local dangers such as crocodiles. Alcohol Restrictions and Permits No permits are required for travel on the Savannah Way. You can carry alcohol along the Savannah Way however some Aboriginal communities have restrictions on the alcohol you can carry into their community.
